You're the Inspiration 這首歌曲出自1984.05發行的Chicago 17 專輯，當時 Chicago的主唱是Peter Cetera，You're the Inspiration這首歌曲也被收錄於2002年夏末初秋時發行的精選大碟【音樂生涯全紀錄】中，並同時與Wishing You Were Here、Beginnings、Call On Me等4首歌曲入榜抒情冠軍曲，You're the Inspiration這首歌曲中譯為「妳就是靈感」這比較沒有什麼爭議，頂多就是「你」還是「妳」這點必須認真的看過歌詞後，才能勉強的確定是「妳」來得貼切些……為什麼用「勉強」這個字眼呢？因為歌詞中並沒有提供很強烈的線索讓我們確認這個「You」是男性或是女性。
