瑞典天團 ABBA 從 70 年代中期走紅到 80 年代初解散，只發行了八張專輯，卻紅遍全世界直到現在（樂團標誌：ᗅᗺᗷᗅ，中文：阿巴），知己知彼 Knowing me, knowing you這首歌只是其中走紅的冰山一角……ABBA源自於樂團成員姓名的首字母，在1976以前的樂團的宣傳材料中，樂團標誌中的第一個「B」字母就已經被反轉過來了。樂團在1970前後重組，樂團成員是Agnetha Fältskog、Björn Ulvaeus，Benny Andersson 與 Anni-Frid Lyngstad，他們憑藉歌曲《滑鐵盧》在1974年歐洲歌唱大賽中獲勝，他們從此廣泛地為人所知。ABBA於1982年解散。經典名曲包括《媽媽咪呀》（Mamma Mia）和《舞后》（Dancing Queen）。
