在我學生時代打工的日子裡，有著雙重回憶的西洋歌曲之中，這首Wasted on the way算是其中的一首，既能在舞會當DJ時播放當吉魯巴舞曲，也能在駐唱時輕快的歌唱……Wasted on the way我個人翻譯成《虛擲光陰》或是《一路流失》，與下面專業音樂網站的介紹略有不同，以下為《安德森之夢》網站介紹與中英歌詞翻譯：

Crosby, Stills & Nash (簡稱：CSN)，組成於 1968 年的民謠搖滾團體，當時樂評嘗以「超級樂團」形容這個組合，因為三位成員分別來自不同的著名團體，分別是：

David Crosby 大衛克羅斯比來自 The Byrds

Stephen Stills 史提芬史帝爾斯來自 Buffalo Springfield

Graham Nash The 葛拉漢納許來自 The Hollies

Crosby, Stills & Nash 另外會有一位民搖滾大將 Neil Young 尼爾楊前來兼差。但是尼爾楊來來去去，他前來壯大聲勢的期間，團名會改為 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young，他歷年來打工的時間分別有 1969–1970、1973–1974、1986–1988、1991、1999–2006、2013。"Wasted on the way" 為該團 1982 年的暢銷曲，收錄在《 Daylight Again 》專輯中。這首單曲曾在百大單曲排行榜獲得第 9 名，在成人抒情榜獲得 5 週的亞軍席次。這時的尼爾楊正在忙他的個人專輯，並未參與錄音。
