Rhythm of the rain，中文譯名應該是雨的節奏，或是雨中的節奏，但是打從五十年前起，某一位前輩譯者翻成「雨的旋律」，就一直將錯就錯，積非成是到了五十年後了，但是嚴格來說，絕對，絕對是不對的，而且是差很大，你能說熱狗也是狗嗎？(這句話學柏楊先生的)

好了，言歸正傳，這首西洋老歌很膾炙人口的，是來自加州聖地牙哥的瀑布合唱團(The Cascades)所演唱的，Rhythm of the rain，一開始在台灣走紅是因為「青箭口香糖」的廣告歌曲，當然旋律輕快，節奏順暢，曲調優美，也是原因吧！這首歌在國外，發表於1962年11月，是The Cascades的第二張單曲，也是…很抱歉的，也是他們唯一一首暢銷的歌曲，但是這首在流行榜上獲得了第三名，同時更勇奪抒情歌曲排行榜的冠軍，繼而成為流行音樂史上最令人難忘的經典之一了。
