Cyndi Lauper的歌聲算是很特殊的一種，一聽就知道，很難有山寨版出現，她的歌詞會帶起當時的青少年次文化，多層次穿衣哲學、諸多配件、百變造型、五顏六色的頭髮，搖旗吶喊『Girls Just Want To Have Fun』新女性主張，種種鮮明印象，除了讓Cyndi Lauper獨領風騷整個八十年代，也為當時保守的西洋樂壇投下震撼彈，不過比較喜歡這首Time after time！
