麵包合唱團的靈魂人物，就是主唱Goodbye girl的David Gates，麵包合唱團最有名的If，也是由他所作，而這首Make it with you當然也是David Gates還在The Bread時候的合唱囉！其實，麵包合唱團唯一的一首冠軍曲，就是這首Make it with you，是1970年8月拿到的⋯⋯。筆者在駐唱期間，Goodbye girl是最常演唱的，而這首 Make it with you，卻是從來未曾唱過，原因很簡單，就是無法詮釋這麼抒情輕柔又優美的曲子⋯⋯，值得一提的是1968年麵包合唱團成立時，筆者才兩歲啊！呵呵。
