麵包合唱團的靈魂人物，就是主唱 Goodbye girl 的 David Gates，麵包合唱團最有名的If，也是由他所作，而這首 Make it with you 當然也是 David Gates 還在 The Bread時候的合唱囉～其實啊，麵包合唱團唯一的一首冠軍曲，就是這首 Make it with you，是1970 年 8月拿到的……筆者在駐唱期間，Goodbye girl 是最常演唱的，而這首 Make it with you，卻是從來未曾唱過，原因很簡單，就是無法詮釋這麼抒情輕柔又優美的曲子啊……好像一直都是這麼一回事吧！值得一提的是1968年麵包合唱團成立時，筆者才兩歲呢，呵呵。
