這首歌曲相當的久遠，第一次聽到時，是從家父的黑膠唱片裡，挑了一片西洋唱片，想聽看看，那時是國小生，連英文ABC都懂不齊全，結果覺得好聽極了，後來上了國中，不斷的求學，卻一直不知道這首歌到底是誰唱的，現在網路太發達一查就知道了，如下介紹：

這首歌是Rita Coolidge唱的，有關Rita Coolidge，她是1945年出生於美國Tennessee，有美國原住民Cherokee的血統，早年是「合音天使」起家，service過的A咖有Joe Cocker、Eric Clapton和Leon Russell，後來她的歌路也差不多在這些領域，1968年她灌錄了第一首單曲〈Turn Around and Love You〉開始她的歌唱事業，後來她遇到了鄉村樂的大咖Kris Kristofferson，兩個人在1973年結婚，婚後合作了幾張暢銷的專輯，並在1974、1976年兩度得到Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal，兩人育有一女，婚姻維持到1980年。 We're All Alone這首歌名的中文翻譯有很多，還是喜歡「同是天涯淪落人」，有曲詞共鳴的意涵。
