這首〈Let it be me〉的原曲,是1955年法國發行的歌曲,歌名為〈Jet'appar tiens〉,而英文歌曲是由 Everly Brothers 在1959年首唱,並在當年列入Billboard Hot 100,位居第七名,這首歌曲在後來傳唱度相當高,並且常常會出現在一些劇內的背景歌曲......筆者最喜歡的是 Everly Brothers 與 Kenny Rogers 這兩個版本,至於安迪威廉斯、Elvis Aron Presley、Rod Stewart、Neil Diamond、Jason Donovan、Inger Marie G.、竹內瑪利亞、Willie Nelson、強尼馬賽斯、Nina Simone、Rosie Thomas、姚以緹、柯林瑞、Julio lglesias、Demis Roussos......等等十五位歌手的版本,各有特色有抒情、有爵士......大家好不好奇,我怎麼知道有這17個版本嗎?(註)
註:想當初,我在 Apple Music 購買〈Let it be me〉時,輸入 iTunes Store ......一口氣跳出三十二個選項,天啊!有這麼誇張嗎?我一個一個點入試聽,排除同名歌曲之外,尚有二十餘版本,再扣除同歌手不同版本......總共就是十七名歌手唱過這首歌,其中不乏大牌明星......而且,大部分都蠻好聽的......。
