有一首電影插曲〈Holding out for a hero〉是來自於〈Footloose〉，中譯〈渾身是勁〉是一部一九八四年的小成本電影，故事發生在一個十分傳統保守的美國小鎮，在那裡的日常生活中，公開跳舞是不被允許的，偏偏男主角是個活力四射又愛跳舞的年輕人……Dean Pitchford回憶了這首歌的首演：「我記得帶了一個女孩到導演面前現場演唱吉姆史戴蒙寫的《Holding out for a hero》，由吉姆史戴蒙在鍵盤上重重地飆著速度飛快的伴奏，在場每個人都沉醉在他的重力彈奏和女孩的演唱……當表演結束，我瞄了一眼，看到鍵盤上下都是血，顯然琴鍵割傷了他的手指。」

 

 

那位演唱的女孩，就是來自英國威爾斯的邦妮泰勒，她剛簽約的哥倫比亞唱片為她發行的新專輯〈Faster Than The Speed of The Night〉雖然已在四月於歐洲、紐澳地區上市，但美國要等到九月才會發行，因此，那首後來橫掃世界各國排行榜的金曲〈Total eclipse of the heart〉還未引爆，但從上述的故事情節中，就可以得知，成功從來都不是偶然……。
