這首〈Goodbye girl〉的主唱者大衛蓋茲，就是著名的團體「麵包合唱團」的靈魂人物，而這首曲子也曾被周華健唱過，收錄在他的專輯裡……因為我剛好買了那張專輯～呵呵～筆者年輕時期，長達七年的駐唱生涯裡，也將其列為 Top 10 點歌排行曲之一，因為駐唱者是以西洋歌曲為主，來賓也大都會點西洋歌曲，〈Goodbye girl〉被點率極高，可能是因為周華健有唱過？或是筆者當時詮釋的比較有感？我想兼而有之吧！〈Goodbye girl〉僅大約排在〈Vincent〉、〈How can I tell Her〉……這幾首歌之後，總而言之，它絕對在十名之內……未來如果有時間，筆者想將塵封多年的註唱時使用的歌本翻出來整理一下……一定能有許多回憶……。
