Billy Ocean是以渾厚富有磁性的嗓音，征服了全世界的英國抒情歌王，不過，在台灣他是一位「歌」比「人」有名的歌星，譬如說，今天要介紹的這首Suddenly在80年代不朽的抒情名曲，就是他所主唱的⋯⋯我想大概知道的人不多吧！也許，也許是因為Billy Ocean不夠帥，但是他可是囊括了「葛萊美最佳節奏藍調歌手獎」，也創造了除了麥可傑克森以外的黑人音樂版圖，實屬不易啊！雖然他沒有同為黑人歌手的Lionel Richel知名度高，但是，在國際上成就不在其之下！
Suddenly是我新購的Apple music曲子，是在我10/18寫的那篇文章之後採購的，這首八零年代的歌曲，曾經伴我度過了學生時期的抒情癡迷，聽著Billy Ocean的「驀然」，記憶似乎已經開始倒帶了⋯⋯也想起了他唱電影《尼羅河寶石》主題曲時的MTV裡，男女主角麥克道格拉斯及凱薩琳透納還特別現身演出，給足了Billy Ocean面子囉！
