辛蒂露波 / Cyndi Lauper 的歌聲，算是很特殊的一種，一聽就知道，很難有山寨版出現，她的歌詞，會帶起當時的青少年次文化，多層次穿衣哲學、諸多配件、百變造型、五顏六色的頭髮，搖旗吶喊著：「Girls Just Want To Have Fun」的新女性主張……種種鮮明印象，除了讓 Cyndi Lauper 獨領風騷整個八十年代，也為當時保守的西洋樂壇投下震撼彈，不過，我比較喜歡這首〈Time after time〉，這首歌應該收錄在與〈True  Color〉同一張專輯裡，當然也被我收集在自己Apple Music 資料庫裡。
